Artillery 2 is a very original plug-in that’s a multi-effect that can be mapped across keyzones and triggered by MIDI notes. Let studio wiz Eli Krantzberg show you how you can use this unique plug-in creatively in your own productions and make original effects and instruments! Eli begins by explaining the concept of Artillery 2 and how you can use it as either an effect or an instrument plug-in, and then he shows you around the interface, demonstrating how to use its powerful key tracking parameter to modulate the depth of the effects.
With the basics covered, Eli explains you how to use LFO’s to alter effect parameter values while sustaining trigger notes, and how to control the characteristics of the modulation. The next video explores how to create envelopes out of the input signal. That leads to a video on using steps in the step sequencer as a modulation source. Crazy!
Eli then reveals how to use MIDI velocity, aftertouch, pitch bend control change, and program change messages to control Arillery 2. Finally, Eli puts it all together and demonstrates how to build a monster preset that you can use to transform your music into something truly unique.
Whether you’re new to Artillery 2 or an experienced user looking for some tasty tips and tricks, watch “Artillery 2 Explained” today!
