When we decided to do an introductory course on the latest version of Cakewalk’s Sonar, we went directly to Sonar expert. See this popular DAW in action and, at the same time, learn the basics in this 20-tutorial course. This popular Windows-based DAW (coming soon to the Mac) is quite the audio/MIDI powerhouse. This course, by Mark Struthers, serves as the perfect introduction to see just how well it performs. Mark takes you through the basics, starting with Sonar’s Command Center. From there, he explores the interface and all the different ways you can personalize and optimize the user experience to meet the demands of your workflow. Then you get into recording using MIDI and VSTis, Melodyne, Groove Clips, audio effects, the Pro Channel and more.
