Watch as they take a recordist’s non-pro mix and import it side by side into their DAW, and show you in-detail, how they would approach the mix in real-time, from magesy download start to finish. Shot in Pro Tools, but applicable to any DAW, Bob and Erik start by playing you the mix of the song “Indiana” by Brandon Guyton, then discuss some of the challenges faced with the tracked material, and their strategies for improving it, as well as the direction of where they took the mix. Bob and Erik start with the vocals, explaining what needed help and ways to go about fixing the issues. Then it’s off to the electric and acoustic guitars, and accordion, which proved to be challenging to make work in the mix. Next, the duo tackles the bass guitar, cymbals, and violins, showing ways to improve them greatly from magesy download the original mix, giving them their own space, and that polished sound and feel.
