The unforgettable sound of handmade Native American flute captured by Werner John of Early Light Music. Werner’s CDs of these very same flutes have sold over 125,000 copies. Now they are available as Gigasample instruments. Multiple attacks such as Legato, Legato with vibrato, Tongued, Tongued with vibrato plus one super Gig that contains all these attacks at three velocity levels. Five separate flutes in all.
Vol. #1 consists of 6 string guitar, Drums, and Acoustic Washburn Bass. Guitars include pristine, single-note instruments as well as unique chord strum. Drums include Snare of Gretsch, Tama and more… Cymbal of Zildjian rides, crashes etc. There is a full of Timbales. The KIT has that hard to find, true acoustic feel. Bass is the classic acoustic Washburn guitar. A must have essential for authentic acoustic recordings.
Alto, Baritone, Soprano and Tenor Sax. All of the samples in this library were performed by Rekevics on vintage Selmer Mark VI saxes, and each instrument was sampled chromatically over its full range. The sustained patches (vibrato and nonvibrato) have four Velocity layers each; most of the others have two.
Every once in a while I’m always delighted to stumble across a “lesser known” sample library that shows incredible quality and thoughtfulness behind its creation. As a composer I adore working with sample libraries that are inspiring to work with. Acoustic Essentials Volume 2 has been reprogrammed from magesy download previous versions of Acoustic Essentials (mainly volume 1 and 2) to take advantage of more advanced sample playback capabilities.
