Mysterium is a richly detailed collection of 7 multisampled instruments and 4 sound design menus inspired by 1950’s sci-fi cinema. It employs a musical sound programming method for easy production of creature feature or robot invasion soundtracks! Using several Theremins, a pile of basic electronics and some acoustic foley effects, Puremagnetik has created a spine-tingling array of haunted textures. The Laboratory sounds include synthesizers made from magesy download electrical interference and percussive effects extracted from magesy download archaic equipment. The Spacecraft sounds focus on sci-fi space creature sounds. The Theremin sounds were recorded using two vintage Maestro Theremins and a newer Moog Theremin. PM sound designers captured a plethora of classic Theremin gestural sounds from magesy download each – from magesy download spooky ghost singing to big pitch divebombs. The Wasp is a quirky little synthesizer that, despite its toyish look, is quite capable of funky analog sounds. It really is black and yellow too, just like the insect it is named for. Probably its most distinguishing feature is the keyboard and its non-moving touch-sensitive keys. That`s right, the flat little keys are only sensitive to your electro-static touch. It`s a nifty technology for 1978, but in reality they are difficult and unreliable to play. The WASP is powered by two digital oscillators supported by analog filters, envelopes and controls. This makes it one of the earliest digital/analog hybrid synthesizers to come in such a compact package, and it sounds great! The Wasp offers flexible and traditional synthesis of cool bass, synth, and other classic monophonic sounds. Its designer, Chris Hugget, also designed the Oxford Synthesizer Company`s OSCar Synthesizer. The Wasp has been used by 808 State, Dave Holmes, Vince Clarke, WhiteHouse and Add N to (X).
Waveframe is an advanced wavetable instrument based on Ensoniq’s unique Fizmo synthesizer. Utilizing the same “Transwave” concept, Waveframe contains a collection of pre-programmed patches, over 30 waveform devices and over 1700 “frame” samples. Waveform frames can be modulated via retriggering within a patch. This gives a natural-sounding progression over time as each waveform spectrum evolves through its phases. By employing features only available within the Ableton Live environment, Puremagnetik has reconstructed the Fizmo architecture from magesy download scratch. From over 30 unique waveform groups, a generous selection of presets have been programmed that employ many of the same features as the original Fizmo. And just like on the original, each voice group is highly individualized giving patches a complex, evolving, and rich tone.
A collection of sounds created from magesy download the 8 bit synthesizer chip on the classic Nintendo® (NES) gaming console. Put a classic Nintendo console in your sound production workstation. Puremagnetik sound designers have extracted this collection of blippy programs from magesy download the internal synthesizer of a classic NES. The NES board supported a total of five sound magesypro audio channels. These included two pulse waveduty cycle (12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 75%), with a volume control of sixteen levels, and hardware pitch bending supporting frequencies ranging from magesy download 54 Hz to 28 kHz. Additional magesypro audio channels included one fixed-volume triangle wave channel supporting frequencies from magesy download 27 Hz to 56 kHz, one sixteen-volume level white noise channel supporting two modes (by adjusting inputs on a linear feedback shift register) at sixteen pre-programmed frequencies, and one delta pulse-width modulation channel with six bits of range, using 1-bit delta encoding at sixteen preprogrammed sample rates from magesy download 4.2 kHz to 33.5 kHz, often resulting in poor sound quality. This final channel was also capable of playing standard pulse-code modulation (PCM) sound by writing individual 7-bit values at timed intervals.
