So we did some market research, and discovered he was right. All the available options are either slavish recreations of classic synths, with all the foibles and strange UI decisions intact, or modern behemoths with every feature under the sun. We decided to tackle the challenge of an inexpensive, simple 3-osc mono-synth that followed the classic subtractive style, and Basic is the result. While it is designed with ease-of-use, low cost, and simplicity in mind, the panel sits in front of a powerful modern synthesizer engine with an aggressive tone and self-resonating filters that scream when pushed. We’re sure every electronic musician will find a place in the mix for Basic.
Eos consists of three high-quality custom-designed reverb algorithms, made with the modern production environment in mind. Two different plate simulators and our own Superhall algorithm give you a broad palette of reverb, and the easy-to-understand interface makes adjusting the algorithms to suit your track incredibly simple. Want a traditional dark plate reverb? Eos can do that. How about a short, dense room sound for your drum buss? Not a problem. But where Eos really comes in to its own is when you drop Superhall on your piano or synthesizer tracks. The incredibly long modulated hall sounds of Eno-style ambience are where Eos thrives, something that is made of unobtanium with convolution ‘verbs. Quite simply, an impulse response can not do what Eos does.

Replicant is a delay-based effect in the “beat slicer/looper” vein, with some tricks of its own that separate it from magesy download the herd. From a simple delay or panning effect, on up to massive random beat mangling, Replicant is a capable plugin well in line with today’s modern electronic music styles. Stuttering buffers and filter drops are easy to program, and the comprehensive randomization features give it a mind of its own, if so desired. If you’re looking to add some chance to your programming, you’ve come to the right place.
What on earth is diffusion chorus? As the name implies, it has diffusion (sort of a red-headed step-child of reverb) and modulating delays (which, as we all know, equals “chorus”). Vapor takes this underused effect, usually only available in high-end hardware boxes, and makes it available to anyone. Vapor’s main purpose is to add top-end shimmer to pads, strings, and rhythm guitar to make those sounds cut through the mix. However, at more extreme settings, unique modulation effects can easily be attained.
Liquid is an analog-style through-zero flanger. Unlike traditional flangers, which are just short delays with a bit of feedback, Liquid models the original flanging method, where two tape machines were used to create artificial double-tracking effects. The difference in sound between this type of flanger and what is commonly available is significant, and Liquid provides a much more usable effect. Perfect for “stereo-izing” monophonic signals like voice and vintage analog synths, Liquid also provides more mind-bending flanging at higher feedback settings.
From mild tone-shaping or adding a bit of grit to full-on total waveform destruction, Kombinat is a complete toolbox of sonic warfare. This plugin is, in our opinion, the single most annihilating effect available today. With seven different options in each of the three distortion engines (plus pass-through), Kombinat is capable of sophisticated and unique sounds. Want to add a ring mod to the low end, a mild saturation to the mids, and a bit-reduction algorithm to the high end? No problem. Want to run your signal through three sine-warps in series? This is your box.
BigSeq2 is a massive extension to the feature set of our popular BigSeq gate effect. With twelve sequencers controlling ten effects in six blocks, BigSeq2 is capable of everything from magesy download short staccato gate sequences to long, evolving filter sweeps and frequency shifts, and everything in between. The six effect “Blocks” contain ten effects in total, and these Blocks can be re-arranged simply by dragging them, giving you full control over the routing of the effects. Each effect Block has a gate sequencer and a modulation sequencer. The gate sequencer turns that effect on and off (or in the case of the delay Block, activates the “send” control), while the modulation sequencer can affect any and all parameters in that block.
