    kokone (心響) is a new Japanese VOCALOID developed by Internet Co., Ltd., released on February 14, 2014 for the VOCALOID3 engine. Her name means “heart sound”. kokone is a VOCALOID designed to have a large vocal range. At the time of her release, her vocal range was the largest of any released VOCALOID. kokone is built to handle normal singing vocals, yet go high to sing falsetto without the change of range noticing. This allows her to act both as a main singer and as a backup singer to other vocals.

      MEIKO is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. Her voice is provided by the Japanese female singer, Meiko Haigō (拝郷 メイコ Haigō Meiko). MEIKO’s new VOCALOID3 voicebank is an update package for MEIKO, using vocal samples from magesy download the original voice provider, Meiko Haigo. It will contain four new voicebanks as well as a “Straight” vocal which bares the same tone as the original VOCALOID. Just like KAITO’s, this extension is not intended to be a expression of emotions like the CV series, and her vocals will contain a more natural singing tone. It will also contain an English voicebank.

          MAIKA is a Spanish VOCALOID being developed by Voctro Labs. She is set to be released for in December 18, 2013, for the VOCALOID3 engine. This vocal had first appeared during the involvement of a collaboration between Voctro Labs, Ballantine’s, theFACT™ and La Oreja de Van Gogh where the people could help to create the lyrics for the famous group. It was revealed this voice was a new VOCALOID that was being developed by the company, and was based on the main singer of the band. MAIKA is a virtual singer that allows you to create vocal parts on your computer without the need of recording a real singer. By simply entering melody, lyrics and expression parameters you’ll be able to create lead vocals, vocal accompaniment, demo vocals, vocal effects; the possibilities are endless. MAIKA is designed to sing in Spanish, but contains a wide range of phonemes that will also cover parts of other languages.
