Thunder Drums became my attempt of creating some Real Drums of War, that would be Powerful, yet at the same time, able to fit into even a relaxed ambient piece of werk, as an underlayer. Ive used several Drums in this build, and as it would go; this build itself was inspired by my soon to be release of ‘Dumpster Percussion’ . And in fact , a large portion of the recordings for this build, were completed inside the very dumpster I had sampled!!

Ive used a variety of drums as listed below:

• – 26 inch Ludwig Concert bass
• – 36 inch suspended baton bass drum
• – 2 x 33 inch steel barrel home made-(Oil Drums).
• – 3 Floor Toms (16 – 18 & 20 inch).
• – 24 inch Tama Kik Drum
• – 22 inch Yamaha V-Power special kik drum
• – 2 x 20 inch Draque African Drums
• – Three China Boy type cymbals ( 14, 16, & 18 )
