Percussionist Gary Hammond returns for another stunning sample pack in our ‘Utility’ series, playing a truly impressive set of bongo rhythms in a variety of different styles. All the loops and samples have been meticulously recorded, processed and finalised in 24 Bit Wav, and come complete with close and room mic options for ultimate flexibility. There is also a bonus folder of electroacoustically manipulated bongo grooves for house and techno producers looking for something more experimental than straight up percussion loops, using digital processing techniques such as custom designed delays and spectral filtering to create eerie experimental rhythms, perfect for house and techno producers.
The loops have been broken down into 4 popular tempo categories in order to work with a number of genres, including pop/rock/rnb, house/techno and breaks/dubstep. All tempos also contain separate loops and fills, allowing you to mix and match the samples to create new rhythms. 3 different types of bongo drum have been used.
This sample library is available to download in Apple Loops or Wav format, and both come packaged with a full selection of Rex2 loops.
