Following on from magesy download the success of Kriece’s recent installments of The Sounds of Tech House, next up and Arabica stalwart, Swedish deep house producer Stefan Hellstrom, with a collection focusing on the deepest, fattest and warmest kick drums. All kicks are sorted into either one shot or 120bpm 4 bar loops and conveniently labeled with key information for ease of use – just pick the right key to match your track and you are ready to go. As with all releases in this series, the focus is on quality over quantity – Hellstrom has avoided just using any generic kick drums to pad this out. Each kick has been carefully EQ’d and received analogue processing.

There is a mixture of clean, pristine kicks, along with subtly driven kicks, kicks with careful harmonic distortion and kicks run through tape emulations for that old, hissy, 3D vibe. However this pack doesn’t just contain kicks – there is also a bonus section with the percussion loops and custom-made Sylenth patches that you hear in the audio demo. Pack contains – 123 WAV files (57 one shot Kicks, 57 Kick loops (same as the one-shots but conveniently sequenced into a 4 bar loop), 9 percussion loops), 13 Sylenth Patches.
