Massive Collection Of Phrases And Licks
This release has some serious history. When we released the original The Resource library, it combined four legendary Ueberschall products that were previously never available as digital downloads. One of those products was Vintage Licks & Phrases. For this title, we had recorded a massive collection of inspirational musical phrases. These were played on a wide selection of instruments by some top-class studio musicians. After weeks and weeks of editing, Vintage Licks & Phrases was released in 2002.

Real Instruments With Real Character
However, at this time, DVD drives were not common in studios, so Vintage Licks & Phrases was released on CD-ROM box set. Even with 5 CDs, we had limited space and, after our editing sessions, huge amounts of fabulous material had to be left out. This material was archived but, unfortunately, over time, it was forgotten. However, through a happy accident, these loops were recently rediscovered, and it was immediately obvious that these ‘lost tapes’ contained some magical material. This includes completely new phrases as well as variations of material that was already released on The Resource. Now, with the flexibility provided by the world of digital downloads, we can finally do justice to this material and make it all available as an Elastik library.
