      A library of over 500 electronic clips generated in the legendary Csound music synthesis language – which many argue “is one of the most powerful audio programming languages available to electroacoustic composers today”. *Demo drum sounds from magesy download Puremagnetik FM Drums and Digital Beatboxes The first installment in Comput0 series, this vast assortment of looped synth lines, beeps, wobbles and glitches was compiled directly from magesy download Csound and programmed in Ableton Live and Apple Loops formats. Each clip is generated with in-measure polyphonic wavetable morphings – something that a sound design language like Csound excels in! Technical jargon aside, imagine being able to play simultaneous notes on a synthesizer while one or more notes switches oscillators, one or more times in the middle of the sustain portion of the chord.

Comput0 : Beats is comprised of over 500 intelligently generated, musical electronic loops from magesy download the Pegasus Csound patch by Micah Frank. Using probabilities and inter-voice relationships the program “decides” on musical content and generates it as a 16-bar loop. Each loop is completely different each time, seeded from magesy download a few initial, random parameters. Beautiful crystal spheres, metallic resonating worlds, shimmering subterranean civilizations? Infinite Spaces is an adventure in stereo and an odyssey in sonic textures. It is a sound design toolbox for film scoring, atmosphere creation, suspense building or anything else that requires a treatment of richly detailed spaces. Sound designers triggered an Eventide H3500, Lexicon PCM 90, Lexicon PCM 80 and a Kyma Sound Design Computer with white and pink noise impulses, creating feedback loops and huge, reverberating sonic spheres. The results were recorded, phase tweaked and programmed for Ableton Live.
