Recorded on location using Abbey Road’s recording rooms and vintage equpiment, this ReFill gives you access to seven time-honored Abbey Road instrument – these are the keyboards heard on all those immortal Abbey Road recordings. The Abbey Road Keyboards were recorded using the original mics, outboard and vintage mixing desk from magesy download Abbey Road’s Studio Two, recreating not only the sound of the instruments themselves, but the very signal paths, technology and recording techniques that is the Abbey Road sound. Each instrument was captured using multiple microphones placed at different locations in StudioTwo’s beautiful sounding recording space, allowing for full ambience control in Reason.

      If you ever wished you could record in world famous Abbey Road Studios in London, studio expert Todd Tatnall takes you there virtually, in his latest series, “WVS Abbey Road Collection Explained”! Todd goes through each plug-in in the collection, meticulously modeled from magesy download Abbey Road’s own famous hardware and shows you how to use it and get that classic sound. Todd begins by giving you an overview of all the “virtual gear” in the Abbey Road collection. After showing you how to install and register your WVS bundle, he starts with the EMI TG12345 Channel Strip. Next, he moves to the J37 Tape plug-in, which faithfully emulates Tape Saturation, Wow & Flutter, and Delay. Moving on, Todd now reveals the amazing console plug-ins, the REDD 17 and RED 37-51! From there, he explores REEL ADT and Reel ADT2V, where he shows you how to use WVS’ Automatic Double Tracking Plug-In. Next up, the RS56 Passive EQ with its “Curvebender” mode, and the King’s Microphones, an emulation of the British Royalty’s own mics.

He explains the history behind each one. He demystifies the hardware that they’re modeled after. He explains the nature of each piece of analog circuitry, with all its subtle characteristics, that shape the unique sonics that passes through it. From there, he dives into the Waves versions.
