      Freak-Q Max for Live ALP

      SYNTHiC4TE | May 21 2018 | 2.6 MB

Freak-Q is a MaxforLive device that can be described as a graphic equalizer with 2048 bands. Although this is technically not accurate it helps to understand what this device does and how it affects the signal. Instead of actual filters to split the signal into bands, Freak-Q is based on a fast Fourier transformation. Keep in mind that all 2048 bands are always fixed and equally placed across the frequency spectrum and therefore using a higher sample rate will lower the resolution. The quality stays the same, but it will sound different. To change the amplitude of every frequency band this plugin gives you the ability to draw curves and modify them with automatable parameters to an extend that has never been done before. This creates interesting and often unpredictable results, which makes this plugin good for experimentation. This equalizer is not designed to balance a mix, it is meant to distort the frequency spectrum and to create harmonics or weird altered sounds.

Tubular bells were originally created with the aim of reproducing a church bell sound within the traditional orchestra. From the middle of the 19th century, the instrument evolved into a set of chromatically tuned tubes made of brass. Since the resonance of a tube is one octave below the fundamental (the struck note), these tubular bells were mapped from magesy download C3 to F4 with lowest and highest notes extended in their respective range.

                  SYNTHiC4TE | Feb 01 2018 | 665 MB

Arsenal brings you the surprisingly rich and musical sounds of an array of metal objects. Chosen for their unique sonic qualities, a selection of pipes, tubes and blades have been played with bows, sticks, hands and mouth, to capture and extract their inherent musical essence. Arsenal’s instruments were created with ostensibly non-musical, ordinary objects: sink drains, shower metal tubes, saw blades, post holders, pipe elbows, glass shades, and much more. But in fact, all these objects are inherently musical, and approached in the right way, reveal a unique treasury of unexpected sounds. All this makes Arsenal an inspiring musical toolbox for exploring new colors, new rhythms and new textures. The palette of out of the ordinary sounds includes space guitars, funky drums and percussion, unorthodox basses, dark, haunting sound effects, crystalline bells, strange metallic sounds, ethereal pads, keys and more.
