A complete set of recorders, Bass, Alto, Tenor, Soprano and Sopranino,beautifully played by one of Sweden’s top flutists and recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Orebro, Sweden. This set of recorders gives you the possibility to perform classic recorder music, to explore the wonderful tone of the recorders or use as a great magesy torrent mood setter in your music, (remember “Stairway to heaven”?) The recorders have been recorded(!) chromatically, that is, all notes within the instruments natural range has been recorded. There are no loops! Each tone is held for about 5 seconds, and that’s how long a musician normally can hold a note without breathing.
The Domra alto is Russian traditional instrument in the domra family. As with all domras, it has three strings but sounds an octave lower. The strings are thicker, and the sound is softer, deeper and mellow. The domra-alto timbre can be divided into three parts: upper, middle and lower. In the upper register the instruments sounds brightly. And in the lower register the instrument is closer to bass, it’s sound is deep and rich. But it is the middle register that makes the domra alto sound inimitably. It can be compared with deep feminine voice. The domra alto matches perfectly with any instrument.
The Alto Glockenspiel is a tuned percussion library capturing a compact 25-key alto glockenspiel. This instrument is typically used in student orchestras and has a natural range from magesy download A4 – A6, but we’ve extended its playable range to from magesy download A-1 to G8 to allow extreme high and low notes. We recorded the alto glockenspiel with 3 different articulations: hard mallet, soft mallet and choked. We’ve also rolled in our classic little children’s toy glockenspiel library as a bonus. Each articulation has several dynamic layers and plenty of round-robin variation to create a very dynamic and naturally playable virtual instrument.
The Alto Flute instrument from magesy download the Woodwinds Section of the Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL) in Kontakt (.nki) format.. The Alto Flute in G is a transposing instrument which extends the flutes’ lower tone range. There are two types: the straight shape and that with a curved headpiece. A straight-headed model was used for the recordings. The alto flute has a full, warm sound suggesting mystery especially in the lower range.
