Various patches can also be used as regular instruments, and the vowel sounds are useful as general choral fodder, so long as you bear in mind that these samples are intended to be dramatic and intense. The percussive consonants also offer creative potential, and many extra patches are provided with non-pitched shouts, fierce staccato ‘ahs’, and cluster crescendos that are just crying out to be used in a horror score.

If you have wondered what Colossus brings, this is actually it. These are the most interesting and best instruments from magesy download EWQL Colossus in their custom library. I have, of course, disregarded the instruments that belong to Ra, Voices of The Apocalypse and Symphonic Orchestra, for everyone should have these libraries individually. Colossus, on the other hand, is not all that brilliant: there are many instruments that should have been given much more space and therefore I would look for them in other libraries.

It will not work with any earlier versions of Kontakt. Instrument samples are compressed. Instruments use 33 (Yamaha) and 98 (Fazioli) MB of RAM alone. Do not use much cpu and the modulation wheel is not assigned to anything.
