MAIKA is a Spanish VOCALOID being developed by Voctro Labs. She is set to be released for in December 18, 2013, for the VOCALOID3 engine. This vocal had first appeared during the involvement of a collaboration between Voctro Labs, Ballantine’s, theFACT™ and La Oreja de Van Gogh where the people could help to create the lyrics for the famous group. It was revealed this voice was a new VOCALOID that was being developed by the company, and was based on the main singer of the band. MAIKA is a virtual singer that allows you to create vocal parts on your computer without the need of recording a real singer. By simply entering melody, lyrics and expression parameters you’ll be able to create lead vocals, vocal accompaniment, demo vocals, vocal effects; the possibilities are endless. MAIKA is designed to sing in Spanish, but contains a wide range of phonemes that will also cover parts of other languages.
Hatsune Miku is the Vocaloid in the Vocaloid Character Vocal Series, Vocaloid created by Crypton Future Media. V3 Miku Append had been confirmed for the VOCALOID3 engine. The move over to the new engine means that all of the Append data must be readjusted from magesy download scratch for optimum results in vocaloid3.
