YouRei Band-pass and Notch Filters For Nebula

    Team MAGNETRiXX | 23 February 2014 | 460 MB

This is the 2nd of a two part set. Here we have a set of band-pass and notch filters that were ‘based on’ a unique, vintage filter unit that was heavily used in forensic audio work, due to its extremely sharp notch filters which can precisely remove unwanted frequency specific noises, without adversely affecting the kept audio. Some users found more creative uses for the super-sharp notches and peaks, which could make unique phaser-like (though not as extreme) effects when swept around, and that ability has been improved here, using Nebula’s built in LFO to modulate the effect. There is also a pass-through program that samples the unit’s character with all filters disabled. Everything was sampled with a Lynx Aurora 8 using high-end Mogami cables.

Sampled from magesy download a unique filter unit that was largely aimed at forensic audio work, but has found many uses. It’s notch/peak filters can be swept around for a unique phaser-like effect, and it’s HP/LP filters can be used for general audio filtering purposes. It was made available in two versions, and this is the more desirable/sought-after ‘T’ model featuring an output transformer which adds a little extra color to the sound. The notch/peak filters will be sampled for a future release. This first release includes 3 differently sampled configurations of the unit’s high/low pass filters.

KRG It was one of “K” first major successful portable analog monosynths and even today it is still a great magesy torrent little machine! In addition to two analog oscillators, it featured two resonant VCFs (voltage controlled filters). The VCF section is capable of high-pass, low-pass, notch and band-reject which is unique and different than your basic lowpass style filter. It makes a great magesy torrent alternative for MMG. KRG sounds fat, round, punch and percussive. The circuit has been refurbished.

            EQ and Filters UPDATE TUTORiAL

            Team: SYNTHiC4TE | Jan 22 2014 | Size; 3.54 GB

In this installment of the Foundations of Audio series, author Brian Lee White shows producers and audio engineers how to properly apply equalization (EQ) and improve the sound of their mixes. The course covers the use of parametric and graphic EQs—and filters such as the high/low pass filters and shelf filters—in a variety of musical settings. These principles can be applied to any digital audio workstation platform, including Logic and Pro Tools, as well as analog workflows.
