Musically I have never been so challenged because NO MIDI (which is what I was highly used to) was involved during the recording of these samples. It made me step my playing way up, there was no room for error so how you hear it is how I played every sample ALL the way thru with very little editing in Pro Tools. You can hear all the characteristics that each instrument has from magesy download the breaths in the flute recordings to the hitting of the tines on the Rhodes. Mixed on a Harrison 10b console and using a ton of analog gear for maximum warmth and texture on EVERY sample composed. Influenced from magesy download 70’s soul, Italian Horror Movie Soundtracks, and Ethnic Cultural Music this sample pack is guaranteed to inspire you instantly.”

Once upon a time, the area near Ennis Montana was ripe with copper and silver mining sites. These areas have since dried up leaving behind tons of old mining tools and equipment. Long derelict and out of commission, we decided to bang on a handful of these pieces of mining history turning them into an action packed, tension filled, or horrific metallic percussion Kontakt instrument. The GUI is extremely versatile and can drastically alter the sound and timbre of this instrument! The Derelict Kit may be small in size and price, but it is HUGE in sound. Thanks to the pitch knob, it can sound downright huge or extremely small in size. Also available on the GUI are EQ (with low, mid, and hi control knobs), a LPF (also mapped to the modwheel), a grit knob to add distortion, a reverb knob to control the amount of reverb, and lastly an attack knob to control the attack of the samples.

Stringache is for the contemporary composer of horror cinematic music: whenever you need a subtle violin effect to create tension, a rising cluster effect to grab the audience’s attention or a screaming, ear piercing string screech stab, Stringache will be your weapon. This library also comes with a large set of original recordings of double bass, cello, viola and violin (270+ 96 kHz, 24 bit, .wav). These sounds have been treated with a very transparent process of EQ and de-noising and you can use them as construction elements to create your own sound effects.
