Mellotron is a genuine collection of all 22 original Mellotron M4000 presets, sampled directly from magesy download tape and ready to drop into the Noiiz Player. Used by artists like The Beatles and Genesis, the instrument has evolved from magesy download a collection of traditional orchestral instrument samples into a unique, creative and expressive instrument. Spattered with unique inconsistencies, wobbles, pops and cross-talk, the instrument is oozing history, stories of sessions gone by and true vintage character. Now housed within the Noiiz Player, it begins a new journey, ready to be twisted and turned into something new by you. The instrument is fascinating in its construction. When each key is pressed, a length of magnetic tape is pressed against a capstan, drawing it across the playhead. The recording on the tape is played back until the key is released, when the tape is retracted by a spring back to its initial position.

Tubular Bells is a complete, full range set of Musser made Tubular Bells, sampled extensively and ready to drop into the Noiiz Player. These solid steel tubes add a colour unlike any other percussion instrument, with a decay tail that could almost linger for eternity and a juxtapositional tone that can range from magesy download celestial and angelic to haunting and demonic The instrument also includes a set of bass chimes, offering an extended range and some really interesting additional tones. Recorded by the Noiiz Content Team at Skinny Farm Studios with a pair a Neumann U87’s, the detail of the instrument is instantly apparent. The chimes are struck on the top edge with a plastic-headed hammer tipped with felt, which gives a great magesy torrent attack on those louder notes, adding real impact.

Steel pans is an extensive collection of beautiful Steel Pan instruments. Sampled from magesy download a full set of 55 gallon oil drums built by Bertrand Parris of Parris Pans and played by the Glissando Steel Orchestra, this instrument sounds really incredible and will be an essential addition to your collection. Twelve, individual steel pans have been methodically recorded by our team at Livingston Studios. The stereo pair of Neumann U87’s captured over 1000 individual samples of varying dynamics. Each velocity-hit, on each group of pans, was done with extreme precision by session musician and seasoned steel pannist Sara Loewenthal. The result is a truly phenominal sounding instrument with beautiful soft attacks and gently swelling harmonics.

This instrument is a stunning and faithfully accurate reincarnation of a beautiful Grand Marimba, ready to play at your fingertips. Expertly recorded with forensic attention to detail, you’ll find exceptionally clean tones that are gentle and pleasing, with delicate transients that permeate playfully through your mix. The Musser Grand Concert Marimba was made in the 1970s and has 4.3 octaves of Rosewood bars upon Aluminium resonators. It was recorded using a stereo pair of Neumann U87s, tracked by Noiiz’s expert engineers and played by concert percussionist Gregory Knowles. Noiiz’s Grand Marimba features 1000 individually recorded, authentic, samples. Thats a-lot of Marimba… The organic Velocity layers make arrangements feel natural to the ear and the Noiiz Player’s built in FX create the ability to manipulate and change the Marimbas sound for your composition.

The Leeds Town Hall Organ is a stunning reincarnation of a beautiful, historic organ that resides in the town hall of the City of Leeds, UK. Captured with a super wide stereo image, you can almost hear the room breathing as the huge tones swirl and interact around the hall. The instrument features 6 sounds crafted by Dr Simon Lindley, the hall’s resident organist, each with a wildly different timbre, from magesy download deep and brooding to shocking and dramatic. Try layering with strings and synths to create an extraordinarily deep sound, or use on its own for earth shattering solos. The original instrument towers over 50 feet high, with ladders and platforms over multiple floors that enable you to climb up inside the instrument and view its internal steel pipes. Hydraulic engines fill the pipes with air, which resonates through the steel tubes and is blasted out through the hall. The software instrument simply aims to serve the colossal sound created by the original organ and bring this incredible instrument to the people of Noiiz.

‘Handpan’ is a beautifully crafted instrument for the Noiiz Player built from magesy download perfectly captured recordings from magesy download an extensive collection of Hang instruments. Ethereal resonant tones and playful harmonics make for hypnotising melodic rhythm sections and playful arpeggiations. A unique collection of original Hang instruments played by the world renowned Daniel Waples were sampled in forensic detail, including chromatic notes pieced together using multiple instruments and a harmonic resonance articulation. The Handpan instruments are relatively new, with the ‘Hang’ first developed in Switzerland by PANArt Hangbau AG, although it sounds like it has been around for centuries. There is something truly mesmerising about this unique instrument’s earthly tones that invokes a feeling of depth and connection that feels strangely familiar and somehow otherworldly at the same time.
