In this series, studio guru Scott Fritz takes you through a complete production using PreSonus Studio One. He starts with the Basic Song, adding more Instruments and Elements as he goes, and then Mixes the Produced Song so it’s ready for the world to hear! Scott starts with an Overview of the Song, Analyzing its strengths and weaknesses and where he wants to take it. He then teaches you How to Line Up a Freely Recorded Song To The Grid, which is important for all future work on the song. After that, Scott takes you through How to Set Up and Record Drums. Once the drums are down, Scott shows you How to Edit MIDI Drums to get the most realistic performance. With the drums down, you’ll witness fantastic Percussion and Bass Performances. Scott doesn’t stop there… In the next videos, he teaches you his techniques for Recording Acoustic and Electric Guitars. With the recording finished, it’s time to Add Final Touches with Programmed Parts Using Software Instruments. He then wraps everything up with a Review and Taking You Through the Song so you can see just how far it’s come!
