The Sosnowski Synthesizer ships with 128 sounds onboard, plus additional sounds on User Bank One. The sounds range broadly from magesy download nearly pipe organ-like timbres and classical colors to contemporary to hard rock to effects. But remember that these are not intended to duplicate real instruments, though they do very generally retain their character where so named. For instance, some of the “pipe organ” sounds are fantastic for rock cuts; while some of the wilder children work wonderfully with anything from magesy download Bach to Mozart.

BIGROOMKIX SYNTH is a VSTi specifically created for making Kick Drums and Bass Drums. Unlike the competition, this is a true Synth, it uses no samples only 100% synthesis to achieve a thick meaty UMPH to your track with ultimate control to the sound. The instrument is completely based on synthesis, meaning that you can use it to build your kick drums from magesy download scratch without any need for samples. The current version of the plugin comes with 120 factory presets which are very well programmed, so you can either pick one and use it in a track right away, or use one as a starting point for your own customized kick drum. The synthesis engine is divided into four different modules which are mixed together before hitting the compressor and then reaching the output.

Zero-1 is in essence a single oscillator virtual analog synthesizer (VA) loosely based on the CS01 monosynth which was released in 1982 as an affordable entry into the world of analog synthesis… but with a twist! Rather than simply sample the basic DCO oscillators from magesy download the original instrument I thought it might be more interesting to first pass them through a tube overdrive and Watkins Copicat tape delay. Mangling the raw oscillators in this manner injected a significant amount of character and movement to the original waveforms – even the splice in the tape loop adds something! Five oscillators were multi-sampled in 24-bits in this manner: triangle, sawtooth, 50% square, 25% square and PWM.
