Aurora: Synthetic Lofi Beats explores drifting ethereal melodies, dusty resampled synths and lofi textures. An expansive collection of custom designed samples fusing vintage electronics and emotive melodics creating a vibrant blend of fuzzed out electronica and hip-hop beats. Synthetic stacks feature filtered pads, atmospheric sine plucks and crunchy keys. Plus a unique assortment of drum one shots, percussive tops and beats were created using drum machines, foley, found sound and live layers. Pitched, saturated and smashed with tape fx and analog clipping. Created in collaboration with lofi hip hop artist and beatmaker Marc aka misc.inc. From his studio in Dresden, Germany he combines soulful chords with organic sound design and rhythmic boom bap grooves to create stories and feelings.
