Slap Bass was sampled from magesy download a Fender Jazz electric bass guitar with Carvin J99 pickups and DR Hi-Beam bass strings directly into a Radial Pro48 DI Box. An extended range was obtained by tuning the E-string all the way down to a C. The low B (B0) of a standard 5-string bass was omitted do to “floppiness” from magesy download down-tuning. “Slap” and “pop” articulations were carefully and meticulously recorded for each note, although in the extreme upper range of the bass, do to tension of the string, normal notes starts to become indistinguishable from magesy download a pop articulations. Regular notes were recorded with a guitar pick, in order to maintain a semi-percussive and metallic sound.

BOWED GUITAR CLOUDS is a cinematic morphing pad instrument running in Kontakt 5.8 and above. It is based on recordings of bowed guitars including a semi-acoustic bass, a Portuguese steel-string ukulele and a hollowbody electric guitar. BOWED GUITAR CLOUDS makes use of Kontakt’s AET Filter technology to seamlessly morph between layers of sound, both tonal and non-tonal. The instrument has a simple GUI allowing for controls for the morphing within each layer (A and B) as well as adjustment of balance between these layers. Other controls include distortion, BP filter, delay and reverb as well as three-band parametric EQ. BOWED GUITAR CLOUDS is a one-page Kontakt instrument designed for ease of use and immediate results.

Inspired by the likes of Steve Reich, Terry Riley and John Cage, MINImalism is an electroacoustic virtual instrument for adding rhythmic motion and interest to your music. “MINImalism” is a Kontakt based library which was recorded in the Sofia Session Studio with multiple microphones, which were later summed into three microphone positions. We recorded two pianos and a marimba, all playing perfect fifths in unison in order to achieve that distinctive percussive and mellow sound of the library. The user interface of the library is designed in a way that gives the user the whole library’s potential within just three patches. In each of the instruments you will be able to see in the middle the Presets section, from magesy download where you are able to browse and select any of the premade presets for this library. On the right side you can locate the FX section, containing different effects (Compressor, Chorus, Flanger, Distortion, Equalizer and Convolution Reverb containing 30 different Impulse responses), which you are able to use to craft your own presets and create your own unique sounds.

Authentic Middle Eastern frame Drums recorded in various sections and ensembles, suitable for all kinds of dynamic music and especially film/videogames. For years the Middle Eastern frame drum has been a constant colour in soundtracks and music productions all over the world. Applying our sampling philosophy to the various instruments of the frame drum branch yielded some very organic and fresh sounding results, which combined with our X3M percussion engine are simply a joy to play. One of our main goals was to have consistent Round Robins captured for as many playing techniques as possible to allow writing fast, but at the same time smooth and realistic sounding percussion arrangements. To achieve that we carefully edited every single sample of our 10 Round Robins manually and did as many iterations as needed after extensively testing the articulations in a real life composing environment.
