SODIUM is a creative drum and beatsequencer for KONTAKT 6.2.2. It features 200 inspiring contemporary factory kits. It also comes with hundreds of included drum sounds to get you started. (You can also import your own WAV samples via drag and drop). SODIUM features four drum sequencers – each one has four distinct drum sounds and 32 steps (divided into two key-switchable patterns). Each sequencer gives you control over velocity, volume and panning, pitch, decay, (lowcut) filter, reverb, multi-fx, sample offset and flam. Creativity is just one knob away – dial in different preset pattern variations for each sequencer using the preset knobs. Or completely randomize the kit with a single button. You can also “lock” a kit once you like the pattern and exchange it with drumsounds from magesy download different preset kits easily. Multi output routing is also available for further processing and mixing in your DAW. Each pattern in SODIUM can play back one of four included drumsounds. With this, you can switch sounds on the fly to try variations with a breeze. There are some special modes included like “cycle” and “random” to alter patterns in a refreshing way.

Rotary Organ was sampled from magesy download a Hammond M3 tonewheel Organ. The end goal was to simulate the sound of a Hammondnd B3 organ with rotating Leslie Speaker inside of a VSTi/AU/AAX plugin. Every drawbar on every note was sampled individually via the organ’s built-in speaker through a Neumann TLM 102 microphone. The signal was re-amped though a Fender Deluxe Reverb and recorded via a Sennheiser e906. Both signals were run through Grace M101 preamps. A Hammond M3 Organ combines the last two harmonics into a single drawbar, this note was omitted. Instead, a “digital foldback” teqchnique was used to extend the harmonics of the Hammond M3 to be similar to that of a Hammond B3.

The MkII Since the samplers has been become more advanced and the TBO still are one of our most popular pianos, we decided to bring it up to date and add some functions in the line of the original ideas. We also added hammerback and pedalnoise samples. Then we added our True Resonance feature and used Kontakts scripting facilities to make Real Time/True Pedaling, Sympathetic Resonance and some other nifty features, and, Voila: The TBO MkII

So, the Clavinet has not only been used in funky 70’s disco anthems, heavy rockers, prog bands and musicians from magesy download all camps has used this instrument. It is really a staple instrument for the keyboard player Being a string instrument that uses single coil pickups, this instrument was built to be played through an amp. So, naturally, we recorded it that way. Using a Fender Twin tube amp makes this instrument sound the way it was intended.
