SAM is a software clone of the famous Oberheim™ SEM synthesizer module. SAMse Beat Edition was exclusive made for Beat Magazine Falkemedia e.K. Verlag.
Every column corresponds to one step, each line represents a note. Just click the buttons to enable the notes to be played. The orange line runs thru while playing. Select the number of steps to play (2-16), the speed in relation to the host clock, the direction (forward, backward, random etc.). Blip2000 outputs MIDI notes, so you can use your favourite synth (-plugin) as the sound source. MIDI channel, note length and velocity can be set. With the fields on the left side you can adjust any scale to be played – or use Blip2000 as a drum sequencer!.
ClockWOrK brings a vintage style step-sequencer into your computer as a plugin. Besides the clear GUI it offers some specialties, like the ability to mute and skip steps, note names at the knobs, a second row for velocity or MIDI CC per step, manual trigger by MIDI key, selectable number of steps up to 16 and others. The sequence can be transposed by MIDI input. ClockWOrK is a pure MIDI plugin, intended to be used with any sound source – plugins or external synths. So its output can be recorded as MIDI in your DAW and further manipulated. Using an external controller box gives the feel of using an old step-sequencer, from magesy download which artists like Klaus Schulze or Tangerine Dream took their hypnotic sequences.
Just click and go, no fancy amounts of parameters. Switch to (R)ecord, play note by note on your keyboard (64 max), set to (P)lay, that’s it. Your sequence will play synced to the (H)ost in the choosen speed, or (S)tep by step when hitting the S button. With (K)ey play option, the sequence is only played back while a MIDI key is pressed. Always the the sequence is transposed by incoming MIDI notes. NOTENSPEICHER is a VST plugin for Windows and any host, that supports standard 32bit VST plugins with MIDI in/out (64bit host via jbridge).
Our next step in emulating classic analogue synthesizer sound! UNCLE SAM is the big brother of our SAM plugin, again featuring our VAE* technique to emulate analog circuit instabilities. This is the plugin version of how the musicians wished the Oberheim™ SEM module to be in that past times! We kept the warm sound and the clearly laid out user interface of the predecessor SAM and added all this nice functions, which where to expensive to realize in hardware in that time. UNCLE SAM now has full equipped envelopes , a third oscillator, a ring modulator and an effect unit with delay and chorus. There is a third envelope to control the volume of the ring modulator / noise source and/or the pitch of VCO2 . The third VCO can run as a sub osc or tuned between the fine tune settings of the two main VCOs. There is an adjustable amplifier stage for all OSCs together with the ability to saturate the filter.
STRETCHA is an extreme time stretching plugin for sample files, playing them up to 100 times slower for drone and ambient effects. STRETCHBPM is adjusting a WAV sample loop to a new BPM tempo. CHIPPER is similar, but for drum loops. It is a drum slicer intended for tempo adjustment with some extra effects, like limiting the playback range or playing the loop slices backwards without reversing the sound.
D-Arp is a double power arpeggiator to trigger your plugins or external synths.
Two arps can run parallel or serial (the first triggers the second). Extras like a force2scale function and the ability to run by manual stepping triggered by incoming MIDI notes on a different channel make this plugin stand out from magesy download other arpeggiators. Special features: host-sync, shuffle, adjustable note length with overlap at max point (for mono glide sounds), velocity adjustable or input pass thru. Clock divider for speed control includes settings for dotted or triol – also there is a manual control for step thru by sending MIDI notes on channel 16 to the plugin (for example from magesy download a drum machine !).

Instaback is an instant audio reverse sound effect faker. Great for live use, it simulates the effect of a backwards played audio track on the fly. Backplayer is the true brother of Instaback; it really reverses audio that is fed into it by the press of a button – up to 2 bars (8/4 beats). Refo-D, the reverse-forward delay. A delay/echo effect that can be switched to produce fw-rev alternating echos. Host synced. Tapebrake. Does not reverse the audio, but simulates the spindown of a tape or disc player.
PCH-1 Chorus is a vintage sounding chorus plugin. From slight movings in the sound to heavy swirling it has a big range of sound with smallest difficulties in usage: just one knob (and a button to switch it off – but we don’t think you will).
Flexfilterbank2 is the follow-up of one of our first plugins, the Filterbank. Sound, controls and GUI was enhanced for this.
There are 8 filter bands, each with a volume and frequency knob. The overall bandwidth of the filters can be adjusted too. Feed it with noise, strings, drums or voice to get vocoder-like effects, enhance or damp frequencies or get special effects. The emulation of electronic circuits also allows for overdrive the input or output section. Version v2.1 now with MIDI note control of the filters: “play” the plugin with MIDI notes, controlling the volume of the 8 filters!
