CIS DSP Factory has released Limiter One, a simple freeware program dependent limiter effect for Windows and Mac.
LIMITER ONE is a program dependent Limiter for VST,VST3 and AudioUnits for Windows and Mac OS X. Very useful on Drums and acoustic guitars.
Limiter One is available for free download via CIS DSP Factory (11.3 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit & 64-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows & Mac).
According to the official press release, this limiter will give very good results on drums and acoustic guitars. I’m not sure if I’ll be testing this one, since I already have my favorites in the limiter department (Limiter No6 and LoudMax). Leave a comment if you give Limiter One a go and let me know what you think!
CIS DSP Factory has released two interesting freeware plugins in the past, one of which is an interesting frequency splitter effect called Six Band Spreader. You’ll get it on the same download page as Limiter One.
